Oh, la la, Jeremy! Classes
This year has been a championship in something decaffeinated Pipeline, except the last two days, there have been several consecutive days of platazo, a rarity in Hawaii. In fact, practically the whole tournament has been played right taking the Pipeline, Backdoor. Very few lefts have been seen. Another fact is that all goofi were eliminated in the quarterfinals.
I have not seen the full championship, but these two last days if I've seen and seeing the different legs, it was noted that the only that could overshadow the ten times champion Kelly Slater, Jeremy Flores was French. Higher scores have been of two competitors, except for a wave of spectacular John John Florence in the quarter-final.
The semifinal between Slater and Flores opted for the second for "my mistake", as they recognized the Florida at the end of the sleeve. The mistake he made was to have priority, let the first wave of the series for the French, hoping to come back better waves. Error, the series was just a wave, so thanks to this wave, Jeremy Slater left behind by a few tenths.
The final, less dramatic than could be expected (among some onshore wind, dull tubes), including Kieren Perrow and Jeremy Flores, was decanted from the European side.
I leave you with some videos of the championship.
greetings.
